Weave Industries History
1980 – After years of managing limestone mining operations, Jim Weaver entered the trucking industry with the launch of Big Horn Transportation.
1989 – Following the sale of Big Horn Transportation, Warren Way West was founded in Laurel, MT with just 4 drivers.
1993 – Warren Way West changed its name to Warren Transport, Inc. (WT).
1999 – Weavers incorporated Environmental Materials, Inc. (EMI).
2000 – Gray Rock Trucking was purchased and the name was changed to Quarry Services, Inc. (QS) to manage aggregate mining and hauling operations. Weavers’ established the real estate business, JDW, Inc., and purchased the WT Billings Headquarters’ lot.
2001 – WT purchased McGinley Trucking and established the Belgrade, MT Branch.
2002 – WT acquired Little Rock Trucking and opened the Warren, MT Branch.
2005 – WT Hardin, MT Branch was established.
2006 – EMI opened an ash and lime kiln dust storage facility in Warren, MT.
2008 – JDW purchased a 37+ acre property in Lockwood, MT for business expansion opportunities.
2009 – QS was expanded to include a new construction division, EnviroWorks (EW). EMI opened a new ash bagging and blending facility with a 100 ton ash silo on JDW’s Lockwood, MT property to mix a specialized ash blend, ENVIRO DRY®.
2010 – EMI saw tremendous growth and added an ash load out building to the Lockwood, MT facility. WT trucks began to steadily haul EMI’s ENVIRO DRY® to the Bakken Oil Fields.
2011 – WT expanded into South Dakota and opened the Rapid City, SD Branch. WT expanded into WY with the opening of its Lovell, WY Branch. Pro Energy, Inc. was established to lease and sell super mills.
2012 – WT acquired USA Trucking and opened the Williston, ND Branch. EMI opened an ash blending and bagging facility in Killdeer, ND. ENVIRO DRY® was officially trademarked. EMI acquired Pro Energy. WHW Trucking was acquired by WT.
2013 – Weave Management Group, Inc. was established to streamline management and operations across all Affiliated Companies. EW spun off from QS and was officially incorporated. A 2-story office addition was completed at the Billings, MT Headquarters. Pinnacle Services, Inc. is established to operate a waste management facility, Chimney Butte Environmental in ND.
2014 – Weave Construction, Inc. was established with the acquisition of Resource Management Associates. The vision for Trailhead Commerce Park was launched. WT consolidated Branch locations and closed the WT Williston, ND and WT Lovell, WY Branches.
2015 – EMI expanded its blending and bagging facility in Killdeer, ND and moved all blending operations to ND. EnviroWorks closed down operations.
2018 – On January 1, 2018, Warren Transport Inc., Quarry Services LLC, Environmental Materials Inc., Pinnacle Services Inc., Weave Construction Inc. and Weave Management Group Inc. merged into a single, consolidated legal entity called ‘Weave Industries‘. The company continues to maintain a spirit of excellence while evolving, diversifying and offering exceptional products, services, and customer support across all industries served.
